Trade Stands
Trades Stands form an important feature at Honley Show, being the first sights on entry to the showground for members of the public, as well as the Society’s members. Over the last few years, the trades stands village has grown considerably and we are delighted to be situated directly opposite the free car parks. As soon as you come through the entrance gates, you will be presented with approximately 100 carefully selected traders in this area alone. All the traders are based outside, either in the trades stands village or around the showfield site. You will find a further 25 traders up on the main showfield site.
We are delighted to have the support of many local and national businesses and charities, from single traders to franchisees, many returning year after year. Spaces have been snapped up really quickly over the last few years, proving the success of being at the show and filling up very quickly this year.
We hope you will visit all of the stands where you will be tempted by a wide range of home made goods from wooden bird boxes to beautiful interior gifts, from exquisite handmade jewellery to fine country clothing.
On the main showfield site, we have local car dealerships with a selection of their latest models, as well as planning that summer holiday in a new motorhome or caravan. For the more adventurous, we are again delighted to welcome back the Red Arrows Flight Simulator! You will also see some of the largest and latest tractors around on the main showfield site. The number of renewable energy stands has grown again this year, reflecting the public’s increased awareness of this source of power. Of course our four legged friends are very well for at our agricultural show, with expertise on hand from local Veterinary Surgeries, to animal charities and nutritionists advising all about animal care.
