Class 14 – Diamond Veteran In-Hand – 25 years and over. Open to horses and ponies of any breed and height
Class 15 – Veteran In-Hand – 20 – 24 years of age. Open to horses and ponies of any breed and height.
Class 16 – Pre-Veteran In-Hand – 15 – 19 years of age. Open to horses and ponies of any breed and height.
Class 17 – Diamond Veteran Ridden – 25 years and over. Open to horses and ponies of any breed and height.
The Premier Pickles Diamond Rosette will be awarded to the oldest horse in Class17
Class 18 – Veteran Ridden – 20 – 24 years of age. Open to horses and ponies of any breed and height.
Class 19 – Pre-Veteran Ridden – 15 -19 years of age. Open to horses and ponies of any breed and height.

Rules:-
Open to members and non-members purchasing day membership of the show. Day membership must be purchased from VHS head office in advance of the show, at a cost of £15. A day membership card and age badge will be provided. All competitors and grooms must adhere to VHS rules in all circumstances. Failure to do so may result in disqualification. Members and day members must carry their VHS membership in the ring for production on request. No exceptions will be accepted.

VHS Regional Final Qualification. All competitors placed 1st – 4th in each class will qualify for the corresponding class at VHS Regional Finals. Members and day members will have their showing card signed by the judge in the ring as proof of qualification. Day members must become full VHS members within 14 days and exchange their day-showing card for a full showing card in order to validate their Regional Final Qualification. regional Finals are open to full members only.

VHS Supreme Final Qualification. Competitors placed 1st and 2nd in each class will also qualify directly for the corresponding class at the VHS Supreme Final to be held at the National Veteran Open Championship, Arena UK, Lincolnshire on the 29th September – 1st October 2017. If the competitor has already qualified, or does not wish to attend, they must refuse the qualification and pass it down the line on the day of qualification. Day members must become full VHS members in order to enter the Supreme Final.

VHS M & M Supreme Final Qualification. The highest placed M & M in each class will qualify for the VHS M&M Supreme Final at the National Veteran Championships.

Young  Rider Championship Qualification. A Young Rider rosette and qualification will be awarded to the young rider of the judges choice, entitling them to enter the Young Rider Championship at the National Veteran Open Championship. This award is entirely at the discretion of the judge.

All competitors are eligible to enter Open classes at the National Veteran Open Championships. No qualification or membership is necessary. See the VHS website for schedule.
