Judging to commence not before at 10.30am

Class 13 – Youngstock – fillies, colts & geldings aged 1,2 & 3 years old.
Class 14 – In Hand Senior, not exceeding 148cms – mares, stallions & geldings aged 4 years and over.
Class 15 – In Hand Senior exceeding 148cms – mares, stallions & geldings aged 4 years and over.
Class 16 – Part-bred In-hand (Go for Glory Class)
Class 17 – Small Ridden not exceeding 148cms – mares, stallions & geldings aged 4 years and over.
Class 18 – Large Ridden exceeding 148cms – mares, stallions & geldings aged 4 years and over.
Class 19 – Part-bred Ridden (Go for Glory Class)

These classes are qualifiers for the Best of Breeds Finals at the Traditional Gypsy Cob Association (TGCA) National Breed Show,  Traditional of the Year Show (TOYS) held annually in September. Full details of membership, horse registration and showing rules (as laid out in the Member’s handbook) can be obtained by visiting
These classes are open to all traditional gypsy cobs.
TOYS Qualification will be awarded to the top three youngstock, small senior IH, large senior IH, small ridden, large ridden and to the highest placed junior and restricted exhibitor.
In open height classes, the top three in small and large sections qualify
Stallions  – All stallions (4yrs & over), in order to enter any TGCA affiliated classes must be registered with the TGCA prior to the Show  and have their TGCA stallion disc displayed  on their bridle.
Existing TGCA Members must present their qualification card to the judge in the ring for signature.
Non-members will receive a qualification card from the judge and will then have 21days to join the TGCA and to register their horse in order to validate their qualification.
This is a Quest Championship Show
1st, 2nd & 3rd from the TGCA classes may go forward to our Quest for a Star Championship, provided they are current TGCA members and the horse is registered. Membership cards and qualification cards(specific to that exhibit) must be presented upon entry to the ring. Stallion rules apply. The Champion and Reserve qualify for the Ultimate Star Championship at TOYS. Anyone not presenting their membership card, showing card or displaying a stallion disc MAY NOT take part in the TGCA Quest Championship.

The Ultimate Star Championship at TOYS will be split into youngstock, senior in-hand and ridden classes.

Entry Fee: £5.00 (£10 on the day) Pre-day entries close 4th June 2018

Exhibitors passes – 2 per horse.

Correctly secured riding hats/helmets to current safety standards must be worn when mounted anywhere on the Showground.
