 A01 P(UK) Glyn Greenwood M&M In-Hand. (Classes 45 – 48)

Class 45 – Mixed M&M In-Hand- Small Breeds. Colt, filly or gelding, 1,2,3 years old. Registered in the approved Pure Bred section of the Breed Societies Stud books of Dartmoor, Exmoor, Shetland and Welsh Section A and B.
Class 46 – Mixed M&M In-Hand – Small Breeds. Stallion, mare, or gelding, 4 years old and over. Registered in the approved Pure Bred section of the Breed Societies Stud books of Dartmoor, Exmoor, Shetland and Welsh Section A and B.
Class 47 – Mixed M&M In-Hand – Large Breeds. Colt, filly or gelding, 1,2,3 years old. Registered in the approved Pure Bred section of the Breed Societies Stud books of Connemara,Dales, Fells, Highlands, New Forest and Welsh Section C and D.
Class 48 – Mixed M&M In-Hand – Large Breeds. Stallion, mare, or gelding, 4 years old and over. Registered in the approved Pure Bred section of the Breed Societies Stud books of Connemara,Dales, Fells, Highlands, New Forest and Welsh Section C and D.

Highland Pony Classes (In-Hand)

Class 49 – Highland In-Hand. Colt, filly or gelding, 1,2,3 years old
Class 50 – Highland In-Hand. Stallion, mare, or gelding, 4 years old and over.

In-Hand Championship -1st & 2nd from Classes 45 – 50

Class 51 – M&M Ridden Mixed Breeds (TSR Qualifier) – mixed M&M ponies, any breed. Riders any age, except must be 12 years old and over on 1st January in the current year to ride any small breeds stallion, and riders must be 14 years and over on 1st January in the current year to ride any large breed stallion.
All ponies must be shown off the lead rein.

A04 – P(UK) Kingsford M&M Ridden Pony of the Year (classes 52 & 63)
Open to M&M ponies registered with their approved respective Pure Bred Societies of Connemara,Dales, Fells, Highlands, New Forest, Shetland, Welsh Section A, B, C and D. Stallion, mare, gelding, 4 yrs or over. Rider any age.
Class 52 – Mixed M&M – Small Breeds – Dartmoor, Exmoor, Shetland, Welsh A and B
Class 53 – Mixed M&M – Large Breeds – Connemara, Dales, Fells, Highland, New Forest and Welsh Section C and D.

Highland Pony Classes (Ridden)

Rules:- Ponies must be registered in the full body of the Highland Pony Society Stud Book (incl. appendices A,B &C). All competing Highland stallions in affiliated shows aged 4 yrs and over should be licensed with the HPS.
Class 54 – BSPS Heritage – Novice Ridden Highland.  4 years old and over. Rider any age

*Please note this class will judged in Ring 2 at 5.00pm.*
Class 55 – BSPS  LeMieux Heritage – Open Ridden Pure Bred Highland. 4yrs and over. Rider any age.

Prizes 1st – £20, 2nd – £15, 3rd – £10

Olympia Breed Semi-final Qualifier BSPS 109/17

1st & 2nd placed ponies from Class 55 to qualify at the semi-final to be held at The Native BSPS Heritage Championships Show at Arena UK. (please note – qualification will not be passed down the line)

Class 56 – A07 – P(UK) Lobster Pot M&M Lead Rein
Open to M&M Pony, mare or gelding, 4 years and over, not exceeding 122cms, registered in their approved respective Pure Breed Society Stud Book of Shetland, Dartmoor, Exmoor, New Forest and Welsh A and B. Riders not to have attained their 9th birthday before 1st January in the current year. To be led by an attendant and shown in a Snaffle Bridle, the lead rein attached to the nose band only.
Class 57 – A08 – P(UK) Brineton M&M First Ridden
Open to Dartmoor, Exmoor, New Forest and Welsh A and B, registered in their approved respective Pure Breed Societies. Mare or gelding, 4 years old or over, not exceeding 128cms. Any suitable bridle acceptable. Riders not to have attained their 12th birthday before 1st January in the current year.

Ridden M &M Championship – 1st & 2nd from Classes 51 -57.

Special Dartmoor and Fell Pony Society rosettes to be awarded to the highest placed member of the Dartmoor and Fell Society. Rosettes provided by Joan Dorman.

The 1st, 2nd and 3rd IN EACH QUALIFYING CLASS will qualify for the 2018 Winter Classic, Equifest 2017 and BSPA 2017. For further information and clarification please visit the relevant society websites.
Competitors in Qualifying positions are NOT required to become P/UK Members.
No membership is required to enter or compete in any Championship Final.
Qualification cards will be awarded in the ring and placings will be confirmed by results sent in by the Show Secretary.

Ridden Part Bred Natives
Class 58:- Part Bred Natives (TSR Qualifier)- Small Breeds. Stallion, mare or gelding, 4yrs of age and over. Rider any age.
Class 59:- Part Bred Natives (TSR Qualifier)- Large Breeds. Stallion, mare or gelding, 4yrs of age and over. Rider any age.
