Health & Safety

The Honley Show Society Limited is committed to observing the highest standards of health and safety for everybody - employees, competitors and spectators - attending the Honley Show.

To that end we have prepared and will implement a Health and Safety Policy Statement which is displayed in the Secretary’s Tent on show day.
The Society’s officers and stewards are given full authority to implement the provision of this policy statement.

Everyone attending the Show is requested, for their own safety and for the safety of others, to observe the directions and advice of the stewards. In order to minimise the risk from fire and permit access by emergency services please observe the NO SMOKING signs in the various tents and the few NO ENTRY signs around the showground.

Please follow carefully the traffic directions from stewards.

Members of the public are reminded that there are some hazards inherent in the large numbers of people and animals at agricultural shows and that all sensible precautions should be taken to minimise the risk of injury to themselves and especially, to their children.
